藝術(shù)的分門別類本身難以界定，我個(gè)人認(rèn)為中國沒有真真意義的抽象，所以我把自己的作品歸納為意象，就是像和不像之間。意象創(chuàng)作或以創(chuàng)作為根基的評(píng)介像是一個(gè)不規(guī)則的圈，我身在其中，自覺方圓。到現(xiàn)在，我找到了進(jìn)入其里的契合點(diǎn)，順勢摸爬，越往后越覺開闊。它是一道口子，撥開，里面是大把誘人的新鮮。
意象藝術(shù)的匯集點(diǎn)太多，更多時(shí)候是一廂情愿的臆想解讀，但都成立，所見即所得，但不表示創(chuàng)作的無意識(shí)或無意圖。我沒想過要摒棄傳統(tǒng)，能存留到現(xiàn)在的必有可取處，我要做的便是將禪宗的因素和相對(duì)前衛(wèi)的符號(hào)，在同一個(gè)系統(tǒng)不出差錯(cuò)的黏合在一起，至盡至善。
畫作完成后我會(huì)好幾天沉在其中，當(dāng)它是鏡子，自顧自地作審視，作糾察，希望在虛無的對(duì)立面上能看到更多東西以備后用。整個(gè)過程中，你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)筆下的“生物”漸變得靈動(dòng)，并呈放大趨勢，隨便抓住哪一個(gè)點(diǎn)，都有觸動(dòng)人心的東西。
畫作之外，悟禪是更為通化的精神領(lǐng)域。它的波及面廣，滲透強(qiáng)，是我創(chuàng)作上的極大推力，更是某個(gè)時(shí)段心領(lǐng)神悟快感的由來。靜思所得是我創(chuàng)作的根源，以其為鋪墊，是理想化的安定，是封鎖不封閉的革命。
