“發(fā)燙的冰：冷形式的表現(xiàn)欲”作為一種反經(jīng)驗(yàn)的修辭策略，意在比擬當(dāng)下藝術(shù)的一種表達(dá)方式。其往往具有某種形式上的冷峻表征，而隱匿內(nèi)在激烈的精神脈動(dòng)，深富理性與表現(xiàn)的二重性。

此次展覽對(duì)于藝術(shù)中冷形式的定義跨越了諸多風(fēng)格與媒介 。繪畫上理性自律的抽象歸納與冷淡默觀的具體描繪；雕塑與裝置中對(duì)于極簡(jiǎn)形式、工業(yè)材料和機(jī)械運(yùn)動(dòng)的執(zhí)著迷戀；攝影與影像中淡漠疏離的情緒表達(dá)；三維動(dòng)畫對(duì)于繁復(fù)物像的精密構(gòu)建等等，都成為了冷形式的廣泛意指。就社會(huì)學(xué)角度考慮，是工具理性、機(jī)械理性、數(shù)據(jù)理性成就了藝術(shù)中冷形式的生成。越來越多的藝術(shù)家崇尚極簡(jiǎn)、機(jī)動(dòng)、數(shù)性的美學(xué)表達(dá)。而理性的過度泛化也導(dǎo)致人類精神的深層危機(jī)——人性存在的消弭。藝術(shù)作品在理性冷峻的形式表征之下如何表達(dá)人性存在，已成為了一個(gè)吊詭而有意義的命題。它試圖探討藝術(shù)中理性與表現(xiàn)的兼容性和同一性。而在這樣藝術(shù)表達(dá)中，矛盾特質(zhì)互相依存互相滲透所合成的螺旋之力也造就了藝術(shù)作品復(fù)雜而奇特的精神結(jié)構(gòu)?；诖耍褂[選擇的這些藝術(shù)家都在這一方面擁有具體而獨(dú)特的實(shí)踐。

The hot ice： A desire to express in cold form is an anti-experiential rhetoric strategy to make an analogy to a contemporary artistic expression method which conceals intensive emotion changes under cold appearance. It’s featured with both rationality and expressiveness.

The exhibition defines cold form from a broad range of styles and medias. Such as the rational abstract induction and contemplative portray in painting； The obsession with Minimalism， industrial material and mechanical movement in sculpture and installation art； The indifferent emotion in photography and cinematography； The exquisite composition of complex objective image in 3D animation. This phenomenon of cold form in art is understood， in sociology， to be resulted in instrumental rationality， mechanical rationality and data rationality. A growing number of artists advocate minimalist， mechanical and digital aesthetic expression. However， the over-generalization of rationality has caused a deep crisis in human spirit， that is， the elimination of human nature. Therefore， it becomes a paradoxical yet meaningful question to explore how to express human nature under the cold and rational appearance of art works， discussing the unity and coexistence of rationality and expression in art. We also see that， in this form of art expression， the interdependence and interaction of the two sides of contradiction form the complex yet peculiar spiritual structure of art work. Based on this， the exhibition selects artists who have conducted specific and unique practice.
