西五藝術(shù)中心將于2010年6月12日至7月18日舉辦 “費(fèi)特” - 梁碩個展，展覽將展出梁碩繼2008年之后的又一個階段的大型裝置藝術(shù)，其主題延續(xù)了《臭美》和《臨時(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)》兩大作品系列，通過對普羅大眾審美觀念的觀察與反思，顛覆了常理中物質(zhì)本身被理解的功能和意義。梁碩1976年出生于天津薊縣，畢業(yè)于中央美術(shù)學(xué)院雕塑系，并于2005-2006年應(yīng)荷蘭皇家藝術(shù)學(xué)院的邀請成為該機(jī)構(gòu)的駐留藝術(shù)家，而那段時(shí)期的經(jīng)歷對梁碩的藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作起了重要的影響。此次展覽的重點(diǎn)是梁碩對空間、物體、結(jié)構(gòu)、功能等元素的再解構(gòu)重組，也是他回國后對實(shí)驗(yàn)藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作的又一次挑戰(zhàn)。

From June 12 to July 18, 2010, C5 Art Center will present “FIT” – a solo exhibition from Liang Shuo. The exhibition displays a large-scale installation that Liang Shuo has worked on since 2008, and is comprised of two main series: “I’m Fucking Beautiful” and “Transient Structures”. Through observing the aestethic ideas and attitudes of the general public, the works here at the show subvert conventional understandings and meanings of material itself. Liang Shuo was born in 1976 in Ji County, near Tianjin, and later graduated from the Sculpture Department in the Central Academy of Fine Arts. From 2005 to 2006, he was artist-in-residence at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten, the Netherlands, an experience that made a considerable impact on Liang Shuo’s artistic creativity. At the current exhibition, Liang Shuo focuses on deconstructing and reconstructing spatial, material, structural and functional elements, as he poses yet another set of challenges to experiement art practice since his return to China.
