8.74卡拉方形濃彩藍鉆石鑲鉆指環(huán)
8日拍賣之瑰麗珠寶及翡翠首飾總成交達HK$254,006,750 (US$ 32,564,970)。白鉆、彩鉆、彩色寶石及翡翠之成交價均穩(wěn)健超卓，各類別之寶石均晉身十大成交拍品之列；而競投者則分別來自亞洲及世界各地。來自一位亞洲藏家之8.74卡拉方形濃彩藍鉆石鑲鉆指環(huán)，成為超過5位買家競逐的焦點，最終以4,380萬港元／560美元成交，并雄據(jù)本拍賣十大拍品之首位，更創(chuàng)下濃彩藍鉆之亞洲最高拍賣紀錄，每卡拉之價錢直逼濃彩藍鉆卡拉單位價（price per carat）之拍賣紀錄，成績驕人，我們深感榮幸。此外，罕見且別具彩頭的28.88卡拉圓形D色完美無瑕白鉆，也成為逾6位投標者的目標，最后以3,650萬港元／470萬美元售出，超越其高估價。
另一焦點拍品──18.08卡拉克什米爾藍寶石鑲鉆指環(huán)亦以高價1,170 萬港元／150萬美元成交，刷新克什米爾藍寶石的亞洲拍賣紀錄。
在今天的拍賣中，鉆石大受買家熱烈追捧，尤其是切割完美的圓鉆。另外，我們亦喜見中國大陸買家積極參與拍賣，踴躍競投，不少十大成交拍品均由此群買家投得，可見其雄厚實力。
The Autumn sale of Magnificent Jewels and Jadeite was held today at Sotheby’s Hong Kong, which achieved a total of over HK$254 million/ US$32.6million.
We saw today strong prices for white diamonds, coloured diamonds, coloured gemstones and jadeite, all of which featured in the top ten. Bidding was consistent both from Asian collectors, as well as from international buyers. We were particularly pleased with the important Fancy Intense Blue Emerald-cut Diamond Ring from an Asian Private Collector, which topped the auction today and for which over 5 bidders competed. This stone achieved the highest price for a Fancy Intense Blue diamond at auction in Asia, reaching HK$43.8 million/ US$5.6 million, just short of the record price per carat for a Fancy Intense Blue diamond. A rare and auspicious 28.88-carat D-colour Flawless Round Brilliant-cut Diamond was fought over by six bidders, realising HK$36.5 million/ US$4.7 million - in excess of the high estimate.
Another highlight was the Important and Rare Kashmir Sapphire and Diamond Ring, 18.08 carats, which achieved HK$11.7 million/ US$1.5 million – a record for a Kashmir Sapphire sold at auction in Asia.
Diamonds found healthy support today with our bidders, with particular strength for Round Brilliant-cut stones. We were also pleased at the level of bidding from Mainland Chinese clients, who were active throughout the sale, and featured strongly in the top ten.
