通過博覽會的國際平臺展現(xiàn)藝術(shù)發(fā)展的未來性是CIGE自始至今的主旨之一。CIGE傳統(tǒng)藝術(shù)項(xiàng)目MAPPING ASIA——亞洲年輕藝術(shù)家個展將繼續(xù)成為CIGE 2011引人關(guān)注的組成部分。當(dāng)代唐人藝術(shù)中心、現(xiàn)在畫廊、楊畫廊、山藝術(shù)空間、藝美畫廊、沒頂公司、Gallery J. Chen(臺北)等12家畫廊,帶來十六位年輕藝術(shù)家新近作品,將開辟特別展場空間。這些不同形式與創(chuàng)作訴求的個展,將回應(yīng)過去一年中,中國當(dāng)代藝術(shù)最具活力與市場前途的年輕藝術(shù)家創(chuàng)作生態(tài)的明徹訊息。

 

參加“亞洲年輕藝術(shù)家個展”單元的藝術(shù)家及作品,由參加CIGE 2011的畫廊推薦,最終由執(zhí)行委員會經(jīng)過嚴(yán)格篩選確定,參展者均為于1968年后出生的亞洲裔或具備亞洲文化背景藝術(shù)家。

 

CIGE希望通過這次展覽為參展藝術(shù)家提供向來自世界各地的收藏家、美術(shù)館、畫廊以及所有藝術(shù)愛好者們展示才華的平臺。無論這些藝術(shù)家已經(jīng)在國際上有相當(dāng)高的聲譽(yù),還是正是通過此次展覽將他們呈現(xiàn)在國際藝術(shù)視野面前,通過這些優(yōu)秀的、充滿探索性的作品我們有理由相信:這些藝術(shù)家今后在藝術(shù)道路上的進(jìn)取與轉(zhuǎn)變將會為藝術(shù)世界帶來不斷的變革與新知。

  陸新建,2000年于南京美術(shù)學(xué)院數(shù)碼圖形設(shè)計(jì)畢業(yè)。在2004至05年期間,陸新建在讀于荷蘭愛因霍芬設(shè)計(jì)學(xué)院研究生學(xué)院。 2006年,他從荷蘭的Frank Mohr Institute的互動媒體與環(huán)境專業(yè)畢業(yè)并取得碩士學(xué)位。

 

  受到他自身平面設(shè)計(jì)的背景和他之前設(shè)計(jì)工作的影響,藝術(shù)家陸新建把他對線條、形狀與色彩中獨(dú)到的見解帶到了他的藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作之中。當(dāng)他將其的創(chuàng)作重心轉(zhuǎn)入純藝術(shù)領(lǐng)域時,自然而然地這些元素依舊在他的藝術(shù)作品中占據(jù)了重要的位置。

 

  陸新建的作品完美結(jié)合了簡單與繁復(fù),抽象與觀念這些元素與概念。在每一幅畫作中,觀者可以在一瞥中抓住某個特定城市的視覺特征,然而畫面內(nèi)容本身又是如此之復(fù)雜,因?yàn)槿魏我粋€城市的布局與景觀都包羅了這個城市歷史、經(jīng)濟(jì)以及政治、文化自古至今所涵蓋的全部內(nèi)容。在視覺上,作品抽象的表現(xiàn)形式似乎近于由線、形、色隨機(jī)所構(gòu)成,然而在作品背后的觀念上則是豐富、明確而堅(jiān)實(shí)的。

 

  In 2000, he graduated from Graphic Design department of Nanjing Arts Institute. From year 2004 to 2005, he studied at IM Postgraduate Department of Design Academy Eihndhoven. Later, he earned his MFA in Interactive Media and Environment Department of Frank Mohr Institute in Netherlands in 2006. Lu now lives and works in Shanghai.

 

  Coming from a design background and influenced by his own design practice, artist Lu Xinjian brings his particular understanding of the relationships among lines, shapes and colors into his artistic practice. It’s only natural when he shifted his practice into the artistic realm, that these elements remain the most prominent in his artistic works.

 

  Lu’s works seaminglessly combine simplicity and complexity, abstraction and concept. From each painting, the viewers can grasp the visual characteristics of a certain city at a glance, yet the content itself is so complex since the cityscape embodies the historical, economic and political history of that particular city to this day. Visually, the abstract presentation may seem randomly composed by lines, shapes and colors, yet the concept behind the works is rich and concrete.

  1971年出生的王風(fēng)華畢業(yè)于西安美術(shù)學(xué)院的油畫系,現(xiàn)任西安美術(shù)學(xué)院的教師。

 

  玻璃摩天大廈是時尚的,在中國它可以成為一個城市現(xiàn)代化的標(biāo)志,它充滿了光彩的絢爛和變換無窮的映像魅惑;玻璃大廈又是神秘而冰冷的,絢麗的外表遮擋了內(nèi)部的各種交易,而在里面的人卻可以享受窺探外面世界的特權(quán);浮光的鏡面時刻都在變化著,如同電影般上演著城市的變遷和社會發(fā)展的一幕幕悲喜故事;當(dāng)你站在玻璃大廈前,它就會不斷地告訴你:什么光污染、什么精神信仰,幕墻上的一片片玻璃就是兒童的拼圖游戲,所有的不安全感與不確定性都是拼圖的零件,拼出的現(xiàn)代化的城市,如同一個巨大的機(jī)器任何人都無法阻止它前進(jìn)的腳步,這個大玻璃的城市鏡像會讓你的精神得到瞬間的膨脹。這就是今天的城市,今天的中國!

 

  Wang Fenghua was born in 1971 and graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Xian Academy of Fine Arts. He is a professor in Xian Academy of Fine Arts.

 

  Filled with splendid luster and changing, charming images, the fashionable glass-walled skyscrapers have become a symbol of urban modernization in China. Glass curtain buildings are mysterious and cold; the brilliant façades cover the transactions taking place within, while those behind the windows enjoy an unobstructed view of the external world. The floating mirror images are ever-changing, displaying scenes from the developing city and society, some happy and some sad, like in a film. When you stand in front of the glass-walled skyscraper, it constantly reminds you that glass panels, showing light pollutions, spiritual beliefs and the like, are pieces in a child’s jigsaw puzzle. Insecurity and uncertainty are parts of the puzzle that make up the modernized city, an enormous machine which nothing can stop from moving forward, and the urban images in the large mirror guarantee to provide an instant expansion of the mind. That is the city of today, and China of today.

  謝帆1983年生于四川江油,2005年畢業(yè)于四川美院。謝帆是一位年輕的藝術(shù)家,他的作品是用油畫顏料畫在絹上而形成的。作品以獨(dú)特的視角描繪了不同的自然景觀,藝術(shù)家的創(chuàng)作靈感來源于中國的五行元素金、木、水、火、土,任何事物都在這個規(guī)律中相生相克,繁衍生息。

 

  Born in Jiangyou, Sichuan Province in 1983, Xie Fan graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2005. He is a young artist whose works are mainly oil on silk. His works depict various natural scenes in a unique viewpoint, and it was traditional Chinese theory of the Five Elements (Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth) that inspired his art creation. All the things reinforce and restraint each other in this law, and live and reproduce.

  程勇的作品在取材上,盡量尋找存在于我們生活中真真切切的事物,而且它的存在一定要處于逝去文化與當(dāng)代文明碰撞點(diǎn)上,總是試圖把一些看上去很不和諧的東西,一些落伍和新生的東西聯(lián)系起來。這種思維與觀念的碰撞可以激起觀者的興趣和思考。他的油畫創(chuàng)作不同于西方傳統(tǒng)古典油畫風(fēng)格,而是力求創(chuàng)造出中國意識形態(tài)下的獨(dú)特的個人面貌。

 

  Through personal perception, Cheng Yong deconstructs the real and rational life and reconstructs it in his paintings so to suit the purpose of his art. He prefers to assemble into an imagination-evoking illusory situation the images from different times and spaces and those between the old-fashioned and the fashion which are irrelevant to each other or which even oppose mutually. The expression both illusory and real and both false and true has created span in time and space to generate imagination, allowing the audience to drift between the illusion and reality, thus reaching the inner unity between the mental and the objective images.

  朱逸清和薛永軍選擇中國傳統(tǒng)的印章作為他們的創(chuàng)作媒介來探討中國傳統(tǒng)文化與西方文化的碰撞問題。他們的作品不論是題材的選擇、媒材與技法的使用、形式的整體都展露出濃厚的二元觀,一種企圖消弭東方與西方、本土與外來、傳統(tǒng)與現(xiàn)代、手工與機(jī)械、繪畫與印刷、空間與平面的界線,進(jìn)而在這些對立或矛盾的縫隙之間開創(chuàng)一種新的可能,形廓一種數(shù)字時代下的影像繪畫。

 

  To study on modern cultural collision from the view of artists, Zhu and Xue choose Chinese seal as the medium of creation. Zhu and Xue with their artworks show a strong sense of duality on the selection of subjects, the usage of medium and skills and the formal expression, trying to eliminate the boundaries between the east and the west, the native and the foreign, the traditional and the modern, the handmade and the machinery as well as the perspective and the plane, thus creating any possible balance among those conflicts or contradictions and outlining the new image painting of digital era.

  曾樸,這位2010首屆新星星藝術(shù)節(jié)”之“藝術(shù)場”大獎得主,1981年出生于四川西昌,2007年畢業(yè)于四川音樂學(xué)院成都美術(shù)學(xué)院油畫系,獲得碩士學(xué)位。目前定居成都。

 

  曾樸似乎生活在一個遠(yuǎn)離江湖煩擾,充斥著個人情感和想象的世界中。他的生活方式及其簡化,但他的作品卻異常細(xì)膩豐富。這些作品可以說都是他個人想象的呈現(xiàn)。這是一個為畫畫而生的 人。他心思極細(xì),手極巧。細(xì)節(jié),是曾樸作品的生命。上帝就在細(xì)節(jié)中,他深諳此道。他的畫作呈水平之態(tài),但不是全平,與海平面略微有角度,被稀釋的顏料就在畫布的角度中或凝聚,或散開,浸潤,流淌,火候控制得極好,使畫面時而像水彩,時而像油畫,于混沌中突現(xiàn)機(jī)鋒,與平涂中微顯溝壑,收放自如。

 

  對于他自己的作品,曾樸是這樣描述的:“我是用繪畫來表現(xiàn)一些片段的,零碎的瞬間,有來自現(xiàn)實(shí)生活的,也有來自幻想的部分,圖像資源有自拍的,有來自報(bào)刊,網(wǎng)絡(luò)和任意改編的,在每張畫上我希望能畫出“感覺”,能注入當(dāng)時的體驗(yàn),每張作品都很小,很多沒有背景,他們可以隨意組合也可以單獨(dú)呈現(xiàn),就像在我們心里的 一些記憶,失望,回避和向望,它們會冷不丁的出現(xiàn)又消失,再出現(xiàn)再消失,我想讓它們隨意的排放在潔白的墻上,三三兩兩漂浮在潔白的空間里,就像在心里,對了這些作品就叫:HEART,我突然覺得這些好像和青春有關(guān)吧 ……”

 

  Zeng Pu,who are the big winner of “2010 Annual Art Prize” in the “First New Star Art Festival” in Chengdu for his “Heart” series.Zeng Pu was born in Xichang, Sichuan and graduated with a master degree from the Oil Department of Chengdu Fine Art Academy of Sichuan Conservatory of Music, Sichuan in 2007. He lives and works currently in Chengdu. Zeng Pu lives in a world, which is strongly influenced by his emotions and inner imagination. He is known to have simplified his lifestyle to an extreme basic level. Compared with his lifestyle, his paintings are highly exquisite and colorful. He paints images that are emerging from his personal imagination.

 

  Zeng Pu is a man born to paint. Painting is his life. He understands deeply that perfection lies in the details. He often uses an angle, which resembles a sea level or a distant horizon. The diluted paint is condensed, dispersed and infiltrated and captures the features of both watercolor and oil painting. The characters in the painting come out of the white void – is it the deep imagination of his heart? – and float in a space that is not defined by frames.

 

  This is how Zeng Pu describes his work in his own words.

 

  “I want to use my paintings to describe some fragmental moments, some of which are from the real life, some are in my imagination, and some are from the newspaper, Internet or self- photography. I hope I can draw my “feelings” on each picture. All my works are pretty small. They don’t have any background. You can combine the small paintings together randomly, or just show the painting independently. I call this series of work “HEART”, since these images are floating in white blank spaces by twos or threes, just like the characters in our heart, we sometimes feel disappointed or are running away or longing, they could suddenly appear or disappear in our memory.”

  譚奇志是一位年輕的女藝術(shù)家。她創(chuàng)作的對象都是我們?nèi)粘?梢砸姷降奈锛捍蟮缴嘲l(fā),茶幾,小到被子,口紅,小凳子,櫻桃,無不細(xì)細(xì)綴著藝術(shù)家的細(xì)膩和寧靜??醋T奇志的作品,就好像看到了一灣寧靜的湖泊,一株風(fēng)姿特致的柳樹。譚奇志選用了針線來創(chuàng)作作品。傳統(tǒng)的女紅,幾乎已經(jīng)被這個快速的時代拋棄。譚奇志卻用女紅一針一腳地做起了創(chuàng)作。

 

  Tan Qizhi is a young femail artist. The object of her creation can be seen everywhere, such as sofa, table, fruit, light. Within the quite mood, you can discover the inside spirit of the artist.

  這次的一系列作品是以氣球?yàn)橹黝},我一直都中意虛幻和不那么真實(shí)的題材,而氣球剛好就是這樣,它們即真實(shí)又飄渺,輕易就來,隨風(fēng)就去,并不會有人關(guān)心它們消失在何時何地.而我的心態(tài)就像兒童,總在考慮一些無關(guān)緊要的問題.我盡量把它們畫的清晰和具體,試圖通過這些微不足道的小物體激發(fā)人們內(nèi)心深處的回憶和感動,從復(fù)雜的社會關(guān)系中暫時脫離出來.這次整體的展出效果也是干凈和純粹的,希望觀眾能從作品中感覺到輕松感到釋懷,以及我樂觀的創(chuàng)作方式和生活態(tài)度.

 

  The topic of this series is balloon. My favorite motif are things that a unreal, so is balloons. They are both real and misty, easy to come easy to be gone, nobody cares about where they disappear. I think about strange questions all day just like a child. I want to draw them clear and accurate to arouse the memories and emotions out of the complicated social networks. The exhibition is clean and pure. I hope the audience could feel easy and optimism way of living.

  為了窮究真理,為了更好的認(rèn)知世界,我們總是盡力將自己他者化,試圖將自己抽離來反思我們自身的狀態(tài),然而當(dāng)我們抽離的足夠遠(yuǎn)時,我們觸碰到了廣闊而又無始無終的洪荒,這巨大的單純,消弭了我們固有的認(rèn)知,令我們心生感慨心生懷疑,擁堵貪婪的城市佇立在那兒,我們深陷其中,忙忙碌碌各得其所,人類社會,多么精巧的結(jié)構(gòu)啊,意義的附加是個由簡單到復(fù)雜的過程,未來也必定越來越枝葉繁茂,藤蔓交錯,人們在不停的制造新的意義,就像霓虹燈,并非真正的彩虹,是人造物,是我們在這片鋼筋混凝土中制造出來的幻象,是我們在這一片本應(yīng)漆黑一片的夜晚,創(chuàng)造出來的繁華。

 

  For the better understanding of the world and facts, we do our best to act as the other to reflect conditions of our own. However, when we act further enough, we plunge into endless wild area where the giant innocence dissolves our knowledge and makes us to suspect. The crowded city standing there, all of us trapped in it are busy doing our stuff. How elegant is the human society. Meaning adding in is a process from simple to complicated, the future must be more and more flourish. People create meanings constantly like neon lights. Neon lights are the illusions we created in the woods of concrete, Its the prosperity in the night which should be pitch-black.

  這一切根深蒂固于每一個未曾去過希臘的人的想象里。我粗略的游歷了希臘,給我?guī)砹硪环矫娴乃伎?。希臘與中國同樣是歷史悠久的文明古國,但是在我看到的是同樣的命運(yùn)與歷史文化的衰亡?,F(xiàn)代文明無情的把傳統(tǒng)文化擠到那幾塊矗立在衛(wèi)城孤獨(dú)的石頭之上,我感到絲絲的悲涼。

 

  These factors are rooted in everyone‘s imagination who hasn’t been to Greece yet. My short travel to Greece has brought me some thoughts in addition to those above.Greece is the same oldest civilization as China, I saw they have the same fate on the lost heritage of the traditional culture.Modern civilization has embodied the traditional culture only into those lonely stones standing in the Acropolis, I felt sad.

  我一直在用不同層次的黑在紙上做作品,黑色和紙材料都是我鐘愛的。黑色里藏著我的所有想象,我只是有時候讓他們從中現(xiàn)形出來,他們好象《西游記》中的神仙妖怪能變化能“現(xiàn)形”。紙?jiān)谖覀冞@里由來已久是聯(lián)絡(luò)此現(xiàn)實(shí)以外世界的媒介(有時侯是唯一的,如燒紙)。它無聲的記載著情感,并且形式極端——燒掉化作灰燼隨風(fēng)而逝。它的脆弱顯現(xiàn)它的力量。而最讓我著迷的是,紙能承載我作的所有假設(shè)。光線和黑暗是一對天生的伙伴,它比我畫的黑色更具想象力。別只讓眼睛享受所有的形形色色,在黑夜里閉上眼睛你可以看到更多。
