如意畫廊成立于2005年9月。
 

    背景：華南地區(qū)珠三角曾經(jīng)作為中國經(jīng)濟前沿城市，帶領(lǐng)著中國經(jīng)濟的發(fā)展。理性務(wù)實的人文氣氛使這里的當代藝術(shù)產(chǎn)生了獨特的魅力，而備受世界的關(guān)注。
 

    特點：作為一家立足于廣東的畫廊，如意畫廊以促進本地當代藝術(shù)發(fā)展為己任，重點推介廣東當代藝術(shù)家的藝術(shù)作品。
 

    介紹：本土藝術(shù)家指的是生活和工作在廣東的藝術(shù)家，他們不一定出生于本地，但卻深受廣東氣候、水土、人文、經(jīng)濟等環(huán)境的影響，從而產(chǎn)生出一種迥異于北京、上海、四川等地的藝術(shù)風貌。這是廣東當代藝術(shù)的獨特價值所在。
 

    途徑：畫廊堅持以學術(shù)先行，通過整理研究、學術(shù)評論、媒體宣傳、展覽、制作畫冊等方式向世界展示廣東當代藝術(shù)的風采。

    近期舉辦的展覽有《新繪志》、《向諾克林致敬》、《超級英雄》、《版痕物語》、《沉溺》、《城市物語》以及《城市肖像記錄》等。
 

    Background: Pearl River Delta region in southern China once as China's forefront cities led the development of Chinese economy. Rational and pragmatic human atmosphere here form a unique style of contemporary art, attracting worldwide attention.
    Features：As a gallery focused on the local, Ruyi Gallery take promoting the local art development as its own responsibility and emphasize on introducing art works of local artists.
    Introduction: Local artists refer to the artists who live and work in Guangdong; they are not necessarily locally born, but deeply influenced by the climate, soil, water conservation, cultural and other environments of Guangdong, thus creating a quite different artistic style from that of Beijing, Shanghai, Sichuan and other regions. This is the unique value of Guangdong contemporary art.
