香格里拉文化藝術公社由藝術家韋崗創(chuàng)辦于1999年，早期以經(jīng)營藝術工作室為主，每年對外開放數(shù)次。2005年擴展香格里拉文化藝術公社二期，共占地面積達兩萬平方米，同時于中心地帶設立了香格里拉藝術中心－薩特空間，側重于中青年藝術家的發(fā)掘與推廣，使廣大的原創(chuàng)藝術品進入市場，并提供長期的展陳。同時，涉足高端藝術品藏品，定期舉行主題性展覽與優(yōu)秀藝術家個展。薩特空間位于香格里拉文化藝術中心的心臟部位，臨湖而居，自然環(huán)境優(yōu)美，藝術氣息濃厚，是藝術家們理想的舞臺。

        SHANGRI-LA Culture & Arts Community ,which started by artist WeiGang in 1999, was initially main in art and open to public several times a year. In 2005, we extended the SHANGRI-LA Culture & Arts Community║, occupied 20 thousand square meter and set Shangerila art center Sart Gallery in the center area which emphasis on discovering and expressing middle and young-aged-artists to get the numerous original artworks into marketand to supply peverment display. Meanwhile ,we collect high-level artworks and hold some exhibitions for public and some individual artists regularly. The Sart Gallery locates in the center part of SHANGRI-LA Culture & Arts Community. This gallery is near the lake and has nice atmosphere of nature and art ,which is the wonderful place for artists to perform.
