繼2010年沈文燮元典美術(shù)館個展"反芻"展覽之后,今天,我們再次迎來沈文燮先生和他的全部在北京現(xiàn)場完成的作品,并且包括了他對自己上世紀(jì)七十年代經(jīng)典作品創(chuàng)意性的復(fù)原。
從組織韓國先鋒藝術(shù)AG小組(1969-1972)起,沈文燮始終是韓國裝置藝術(shù)領(lǐng)軍人物。1970年的展覽中,他意外地展示了裝滿水的丙烯酸桶作品。今天我們可以猜問,這是對他兄弟般情誼李禹煥物派思想的回應(yīng)? 還是對當(dāng)代藝術(shù)之父杜尚作品"泉"的提問給出的答案。然而,在次年的一個展覽中,沈文燮又將一張巨大的紙固定在墻上隨之撕斷,再將幾塊自然的石頭壓在飄落地面的紙上;還有,用砂紙打磨、刮擦空白畫布.......,沈文燮用他的"扭曲"將未來提前置放在我們面前,這是一場荒謬的冒險(xiǎn),一場終其身震蕩靈魂的獨(dú)吟。而這種荒謬的詩意與斷裂的美學(xué),伴隨他漫步半個世紀(jì)的藝術(shù)生涯,直至今天。
沈文燮先生不僅是韓國裝置藝術(shù)的開拓者,同時也是亞洲當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的偉大先趨。作為藝術(shù)史的承前啟后者,我們在十年中連續(xù)追蹤他的個案,一方面是對他個人藝術(shù)的敬仰,另一方面也是他與中國當(dāng)代藝術(shù)的關(guān)聯(lián)及所提供的更為廣闊視野。 本次展覽我們將組織一系列的討論與對話等活動,旨在對沈文燮先生的藝術(shù)、藝術(shù)影響及其關(guān)聯(lián)進(jìn)行有趣的探討。感謝藝術(shù)家沈文燮先生,感謝支持及參與活動的藝術(shù)家、批評家及朋友們,感謝中、韓每一位為此展覽做出貢獻(xiàn)的工作人員及志愿者。
